while I was outside taking advantage of the perfect lighting,
before long it started to rain... 
so I grabbed my umbrella...
and went inside to dye.SPECS: 2 skeins Misti Alpaca Laceweight dyed with Jacquard Acid Dye (1 pt blue, 1 pt yellow, 2 pts red). Hello plum. Thinking of knitting this into a Wisp or a Swallowtail Shawl. Not sure yet. I have plenty of time to decided while I finish knee socks and WIPs.

That is so lovely. It's my favorite light almost -- I think what I call the "gloaming" is the best. The color of the yarn makes me think of amethysts or edible things. I can't wait to see it knitted up.
