Mom, Di, and I went to David's Bridal with our friend Debbie and her little girl, Daisy, today. Di tried on about three wedding dresses before she found the one she liked. She ordered it in cream instead of white. Cream suits her skintone much better (she's got olive tones).
Deb and I tried on about 10 bridesmaids dresses before we found a dress that 1. fit and 2. came in the right color. The dresses below are the style we're getting, but not the color. The dresses will be a sky blue. The wedding's in May so everyone wants to keep the colors light and springy. We are decidedly not light and springy below. (Deb's the Matron of Honor; I'm the Maid of Honor - can't you have two?)
We took quite a few pictures of Daisy, but I just wanted to show off the dress she got. This was the last one she tried on and, as you can see, she's not too happy about it. It's got a pinky-rum colored bow around the waist and a billion buttons of the same color down the back. It's got some embroidery around the waist as well. She looks adorable in it - even more so when she's not upset. She'll be the flower girl for the wedding.

Wow, that is a gorgeous dress your sister picked out! Yours is really nice too, sometimes not the "most flattering" dresses are picked out by the bride! Your's looks great on you! :)
